[ Hello, Luceti. Look at your cat. Now back to Nyanko, now back at your cat, now back to Nyanko. Sadly, he isn't Nyanko. But if he started eating everything in sight and switched to drinking sake, he could smell like he's Nyanko.

Look down, back up, where is he? He's on a roof, being the cat your cat could smell like. What's on your head? Back at Nyanko. He threw it. It's some tree twigs that broke off. Look again! THE NYANKO IS NOW FALLING.

Anything is possible when your cat smells like sake and not a normal cat.

Nyanko's on your head. ]

[And he'll just be promptly flailing in a, uh, properly manly fashion yes in an attempt to a) rid himself of the cat and b) get as far away from it as he possibly can right now.]

[And that was totally not a panicked yelp. At all.

That, however, is Gilbert resuming his efforts to shove, push, pull, or fling the dread creature off his head and far away from himself.]

It's a cat!

[Well, it's certainly enough to make him stop. In fact, it makes Gilbert stagger a little, reaching out for the nearest wall to steady himself again. That... didn't feel very good and why is the terrifying thing talking to him]

...what?

[He's still going to be holding very very very still for a minute here, trying to keep the panic at bay for at least a couple of minutes.]

...can you get off my head?
